I want to migrate my settings and data from my old mac mini to my new mac mini using the Migration Assistant in the old mac mini. My monitor has only one HDMI port. Both the mac mini are equipped with hdmi cables for connecting to this monitor. Kindly let me know the setup I should use to migrate data from the old computer to the new computer.

Migrating using one monitor

Do you have an external disk around? You could use Time Machine to backup the old machine to the external disk then use that as the source for the Migration Assistant.
