I installed OS X to my external hard drive and then wanted to run migration assistant to migrate all my files, pictures, et from my internal hd back to the external (which I booted from) so that I could format my iMac and reload the OS because I've been having some serious issues with it. With 9 minutes left in the migration I get an error message that it cannot be completed and the migration is not successful, or some wording along those lines. Below is the exact text in the error box,
