Migration Assistant User Issues

I recently used Migration Assistant to transfer my Macbook to my new iMac. This was the first time I had ever used MA and I did not know that it would just create a second user...I thought that it would transfer data and settings to the user that came installed on the computer. Will there be any problems if I delete the original user and just keep the new user installed from MA as the only user on the computer?

Not unless you have anything in the original account you wish to keep. This might include things like Safari bookmarks, iTunes purchases, pictures in iPhoto, Photo Booth, etc.

Thanks, that's what I thought but was a little afraid to go through with it. It's a new computer so there is absolutely nothing on the user that came with it. I'll delete it now and keep the user transferred over with MA
