Hey Everyone,

I just purchased a new iMac and migrating my content from my Macbook is turning into an absolute NIGHTMARE. I tried using Time Machine and the backup keeps failing. The Macbook keeps finding files to corrupt - when they weren't corrupted before. So I can't back up my iPhoto, iTunes, etc. At the very least I tried to just copy my music over to a backup drive and it keeps crapping out.

Why the heck isn't Leopard smart enough to simply SKIP a bad file (and these are tracks that I PURCHASED from freaking iTunes!) and keep on going??????? Now I'm trying to just sync my entire music library over to my iPad and that's not working either. I have 5,300 tracks and it's just randomly corrupting a couple of them forcing me to delete them.

I'm at my wits end and am ready to permanently give up on Apple Products and taking a hammer to this macbook and definitely sending the iMac back. I'm just sick to death of being locked into iTunes and iPhoto when I can't back my data up with any kind of consistency.:mad:

The irony is iTunes is easier to work with in a Windows Environment. I use CopyTrans suite and it works flawlessly. I tried iPodCopy on my iMac with my iPhone 4 and it only copied 70 percent of my stuff. So yes, I think I've finally had it and returning my iMac.
