So I've just a little over 24 hours into migrating my Rev.a MBA to my Rev.b

Has it taken anyone else this long? I'm on an 802.11n network (a 500GB Time Capsule) but for some reason I'm only half way complete with the transfer (about 72GB) Originally it had said it would take 14 hours but since the transfer has begun no "time remaining" has appeared on screen.

I can only assume i have about 24 to 36 hours remaining until this finishes but I was just wondering why it could be taking so long. Next time I will be removing all movies and music and manually porting those to the new machine.

The good side of the grass.
I did a wireless migration on my first Air and learned what you are now....

It took about 28 hours so you're probably getting close.

For smarter migration on Air 2, I used Time Machine to back up Air 1 (which is a good idea in its own right...) I chose the Time Machine backup option from Mig. Asst., plugged in the USB backup drive and it took about 1 1/2 hours.

With the relative new drives we are getting in the Air's, at a minimum you should invest a few $$'s and get a USB drive for backup.
