I read something about Microsoft Office 2004 for the Mac. Does anyone know about this? I would love to buy this upgrade, will it work faster then old versions? Will you guys be buying it? Didn't Office 2003 just come out. Will there be an office 2004 for Windows too? I'm confused....

Thanks for your help...

Duff-man says....yes, there is Office 2004 for mac coming in the next few months - no definite release date has been set. It was shown off a bit at the MacWorld Expo in January. You can rwad a bit about it at Microsoft's Mactopia page. Office 2003 is a Windoze-only thing.....oh yeah!

Yes, Office 2004 is due out this Spring. I say the introduction during the Keynote at MWSF this past January. Impressed by the new features. It is going to have features that won't be on the Windows version. I think that it will be well worth the pice.

This feature sounds very interesting: Office 2004 makes it easier than ever to manage your information with features such as Notebook Layout View in Word. You will be able to quickly take notes, search and flag relevant information, and even record audio directly into your Word documents.
