To see Lohan, Paris, & Tyson all using the iPhone, all I can think is that it's a true testament to what a great UI Apple designed. Word.

Seriously, all those people you listed got an iPhone cuz of the hype, not because they appreciate a great UI. Do you think they drive SL55's because they appreciate the engine and craftsmanship, or because it's an expensive, cool car?

Also, in no way was that the point. Most of those people could buy a very very nice Linux based PC, but do you think they could get the most out of that computer? No, they don't know how to use it. Apple can turn complex things into a device anyone can use(Unix core for OS X, Smartphone for iPhone)
