I am A marine stationed in japan and i am trying to get the abc app to run in japan. Is there a way to get it to work on a jb'n iPad?

You'd need to use a vpn / proxy service, so it looks like your ip address is in the US.
I don't use one but I'm sure someone here can recommend a good one.
Thanks for the reply. Right after i posted this i saw the thread about 10 down about almost the same thing. I am going to write abc an email and see if they will open up my ip due to being military. I had this problem with hulu and sent an email and not i can stream hulu, thought it was cool that they did that.
I'm in Germany and i use lamnia.co.uk and it works fine. I use the ABC app successfully and on my MBP i can also access Hulu and CBS etc....

My father was a Marine. We were stationed in Iwakuni for 6 yrs. I loved it there so I stayed for 10yrs but I've been back in the states since '96. Thinking about going back within the next couple of years. Wouldn't mind spending the rest of my days there.
