Hey guys!

I was wondering if you go with Millenniata's or with Verbatim's M-disk BD for archival storage of precious home movies that you make on your Mac?

I am also a bit confused with all this blu ray vs non blu ray stuff, too...I just want to make an archival copy of my home made movies. Can you please provide a link of the M-disc on amazon?

Also, can you please provide a link to a DVD-writer that is M-disc ready?

Thanks!

If you are dragging and dropping video files for backup, then the disks act just like small hard drives. You need a burner that is mac compatible and is compatible with the disc media you intend to use.

If you want to make a disc that you can play in a DVD or BR player, you also need to author it. I think iMove can may a simple playable DVD don't recall what you need for BR... but that doesn't sound like what you are doing anyway.

You can find these burners at several outlets as well as the discs. I haven't been able to find inkjet printable DVDR disks, but you can get BR you can print a label on.
