I am mind blown!!! I saw that the BlackBerry Z10 had screen sharing during chat with BBM and thought that could be soooooo useful for me in a smartphone but haven't seen anyone else do it. Then, I saw this video from Samsung Mobile: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=2LHv1FPd1Ec&t=200s

It shows that the ChatOn app in the Samsung Galaxy S4 has built in screensharing!!!! This is a hidden gem that I have not read in any reviews or press releases. I had the ChatOn app on my Galaxy Note 2 but deleted it since I already used another messaging app. I'm going to have to reinstall it and see if the current version supports the screen sharing or if I will have to wait for the Galaxy S4 to launch first before getting the app update.

I think Samsung has done a really good job with the improvements in the Galaxy S4 and am finding these hidden features as I read more and more. I am also liking the Galaxy S4 more and more as I get to know it. Can't wait for the Note 3!

Not sure how this would be genuinely useful to the vast majority of SGS4 users, but if you think its good, I'm happy for you, :)

It is for things like drawing on pictures or scans of documents while showing or teaching someone over chat and also to show them websites and how to find the information they need. This is so infinitely useful for me especially since I have the S Pen on the Galaxy Note 2.

I assume the other person has to have a SGS4 though limiting it ?

I haven't seen anything saying that since ChatOn is available for a lot of devices and through the Web.

That's why I'm genuinely asking ;)

I guess you'll have to wait for a more in depth review of software closer to its actual release to see if they cover this.

It would be nice if some new features were cross platform, but realise it leaves no incentive for that particular manufacturer to create something 'exclusive' to their device (a selling point) if they allow it to be cross platform.

That's what I assumed. So many great features that are available on any given phone are often only compatible with that same or a very similar model. I hate it when companies do this. Things should just be cross platform as a rule these days.
