Hi, I just got this 15" Macbook Pro and decided to test out Minecraft. When the terrain loads, my player starts jumping very quickly and the terrain has issues loading. Same issue happens on lowest settings. Any help? Thanks.

I've seen the jumping a lot myself when starting a new game. It's just that you somehow intersect a bit with the terrain.

I have that too, its a bug of the game. 1.5 is coming next week so wait if that will fix it. I may very well do that, since it's being tested since the first week of january.

I've seen similar issues on Minecraft. I started using OptiFine and the performance is much better. As mentioned, 1.5 is released tomorrow so maybe it'll fix the bug that's causing your specific issue.

I probably should've added that it makes the game unplayable. My character just jumps in place. Maybe the update will fix that.

have you tried jumping and digging straight down?
the game often starts you off in a new work with your legs within a block. usually you can jump out or punch the ground enough to dig your self out
