Hi,

I'm trying to access a multiplayer server and whenever I try to connect I always get the same error "The authentication servers are currently down for maintenance". I decided to boot the game in Windows bootcamp and I was able to play with no problem so I'd really appreciate it if any of you knew how to fix this.

I already tried to log out of my account and log in again, turning off the firewall, adding "-Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true" to the java argument, flushing my DNS, uninstalling the mods, turning the router off and on, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, uninstalling anti virus and adblocker, all with no luck whatsoever.

If anyone has any idea on what might be causing this problem please let me know, I'm still waiting for a reply by minecraft support.
Thank you!

I'm running Big Sur 11.2 on a macbook pro 2017
