Ming Chi Kuo's Latest Statement !

I don't know about you guys, but this Man Ming Chi Kuo is becoming a little irritable with his so called scoops, which is the same chocolate (Stale/Old News) in New wrapper. I a lot of times feel, His Predictions are based more on his gut feeling than any reliable Supply Chain Source. Now the Whining goes on that the iPad Pro 2018 will be released by the end of this Year. This is becoming ridiculously annoying !! My suggestion would be, any news from Ming Chi Kuo has to be taken with a Pinch of Salt now !

It has started to Suck Now !!
 
And he predicted it to happen in June-WWDC that did not happen !!
We just keep hearing from him it's coming...it's coming...and he keeps giving new dates Everytime ! I am not talking about the certainty of Face ID on an iPad but the question of when is it going to come ??

You do know that Apple can delay the dates since nothing has been officially announced, which is nothing to do with Ming Chi Kuo. The iPad Pro with Face ID is likely to come in September alongside new iPhones and new Apple Watches.

There are no absolute’s with these kind of things, it’s more about what’s going to come out than actual dates and Ming Chi Kuo along with Mark Gurman are the best in the industry for that.

AirPower is 2018 as stated by Apple, when this year I don’t know but according to the last report/leak Apple are planning on September due to delays.

Wouldn't it be odd for Apple to finally release new iPads with an A11 inside them, whilst at the same time releasing new telephones with A12s in them. Why is the iPad always so far behind the phones? Truly baffling. It should be the other way around!

It wouldn’t, the current 2017 iPad Pro had a A10X Fusion chip so the rumoured iPad Pro with Face ID will probably have A11X Fusion chip inside. The iPad Pro is very powerful just look at the bencharmk tests

Because iPhones are Apple's top selling product... I don't know the exact numbers but I am willing to bet they outsell iPads by a pretty healthy margin. And on top of that the smartphone market is super competitive so Apple has to stay ahead with its phones.

MCK must have eyes and ears in Apple factories who keep him informed on what is happening in the factories. His 'little birds' will know about the technical details of new products, but decisions like a release date, price, etc, are not made in these factories so he won't know.

He can merely speculate on these matters, but he can also make educated guesses by knowing when products will be ready for production or sale. After all, Apple isn't going to have boxes of new products sitting around gathering dust for months and months.

Yes so there are no two ways or two opinions about what the new iPad Pro would have a far as Face Id and bigger display and all that goes...But if Apple is going to release the iPad Pro in such fag end of the year it might aswell release it in March of next year with a more powerful specs like a chip and more RAM ! The late the better !!
 
YEah, it’s been a frustrating year so far. Besides the low cost ipad with pencil support, Apple hasn’t released ANYTHING new at all. But i feel they will be dropping a lot of new stuff in the fall besides the new iphones. Ipad pros may be one of them. Who knows. Getting mad at Ming Chi Kuo however is kinda pointless. Apple is gonna do what it’s gonna do. Everything else is just rumor & speculation. Hey, i wanna update my ipad real bad...but i’m not gonna burst a blood vessel getting upset about it. Chill dude. Enjoy what ya got. Life is too short to get so upset about something as trivial as when Apple will update their ipad pros. Just saying. Cheers!

Some how, from Apple past performance, it would not surprise me if the new iPads were delayed beyond September. Hopefully by Christmas!

I am very happy with my two 10.5 iPads but would replace one of them with the new iPad Pro when it arrives.

I thought he said it wasn’t going to happen at WWDC?

Apple products are co-designed by firms in China. It's not like Apple just designs the products and then emails the specs over for production.

For example, Tim Cook talked about how Apple worked with Luxshare-ICT on the AirPods.

Even if Apple prevented all leaks from Cupertino, there's not much they can do about the leaks across the ocean.
 
I think it was probably always going to be released in June at WWDC or in October/November, with the latter being the more likely option given their recent track record of timely releases. September will just be too crowded with the phones and watches.

It used to be the other way around until they had the 5S and iPad Air at parity. Then the subsequent releases were reversed. Go figure. But you have to admit the “X” series gpu is a power house. A10X blows A11 outta the water on Metal! It shows big time when gaming. Grid Autosport is buttery smooth on 10.5 inch iPad vs iPhone X. iPhone X doesn’t compare.

He's predicted the correct month and year that each and every iPhone would be released. He also predicted that the iPhone would come with a faster processor and camera each year, and he was right every time! The guy's a genius!

He predicted the exact display resolution of iPhone X, RAM, along with the exact battery capacity in mAH.

Also predicted Face ID would be the exclusive biometric security function on iPhone X.

I don't see any monkeys from last year predicting a 6.1" iPhone.

Back in 2016, Kuo predicted a 10.5" iPad Pro for 2017. Once again, no monkeys in 2016 predicted that.
