Think my Mac mini knows I'm thinking of replacing her.

It started 3 days ago I restarted into bootcamp all fine. Windows installed some updates and restarted

Beep beep beeep. Pause. Beep beep beep. Pause. This kept going

Pressed restart button and computer started into windows fine.

10 mins later I restarted into OS X

Beep beep beep. Pause beep beep beep.

Pressed restart button and started up fine.

It seems that every time I restart from menu it gets stuck at beeping and then holding the restart button makes it startup fine

Googling implies it's a memory issue. However all of the issues I found on Internet says their machines won't start up whereas mine is consistent on starting up the next time.

About this mac says both 4gb memory sticks are 'ok'

I don't seem to have any other problems when the computer is on. Well on thinking about it it's crashed a few times but in a weird way with the screen freezing and going weird smudgy just in the last week but not often.

----------

ive just run techtools, and im confused. it says it passed the memory tests, but if im looking at the results it failed on things so how can it have passed overall???

its got pass and fail at the top and below it sentences and a dot at pass or fail

extended march c fail
address fault pass
sliding (walking -1s) fail
checkerboard fail
MATS++ fail
moving inversions pass
