What is everyone's luck getting their Mini 5's replaced with refurbs because of Battery Wear? I think mine's around 86%, but I think you have to be at least 80% wear right?

I would like to get a replacement before my AC+ expires next month...:\

You're asking about a battery replacement under Applecare+ for your Mini 5? Here's what Apple offers:

"If you have AppleCare+, it covers your iPad or Apple Pencil for no additional charge if your product's battery holds less than 80 percent of its original capacity."

If you need a battery replacement after your AC expires, if you don't extend it, it's $99. You may be able to extend your AC+ too depending on your location:

where are you getting your 86%? If it's coconut or imazing keep in mind that it's not the same 80% as Apple...
Before Apple says it's under 80% in my experience coconut/imazing must report battery health under 60-70% at least...

This is interesting. Using Tech Tool Pro and coconut, my iPad 10.5 showed as 77 or 73%. When I took it to Apple their diagnostics shows battery in good health at 89% so no swap out for me!

exactly, Apple is about 20% above those third party apps and I have given a reason in the past for it...
Since Apple was "obliged" to replace batteries by the PR scandal of Casey Neistat many years ago, they are trying to limit as much as possible battery replacements, because a battery replacement is a potentially lost sale for them... So their interal tool is calibrated accordlingly...
