I got an iPad mini 6 over the weekend. One of the first things I did was make some minor adjustments to the text size. Unfortunately, these minor adjustments resulted in huge text in Notifications:

I tried to fix this by turning Larger Text "OFF" in Accessibility:

And by making the text as small as possible in Display and Brightness

But that didn't work at all.

I have tried force rebooting the iPad several times, but that didn't work either.

Any ideas?

I figured this out. You can change text size on a per-app basis in the control center. Somehow mine got set to 190% for the Home Screen. I've moved it to 120% which is just right for me.

Nice! I was just about to suggest that. You can also change other accessibility controls on a per-app basis now.

settings->accessibility->"per app settings" (all the way at the bottom of the list)
