Not sure why they’ve done this when there is a side without a magnet on that they could have been on. That along with the lack of headphone jack are the only real annoyances for me.

I think this will be the new config for iPads going forward. It's either because they're trying to push landscape use of iPads, or because more people are now using their iPads in landscape.

Yea I think that's a very odd choice, it's how it is on my Amazon Fire tablet.

That bottom edge (in landscape) is probably the worst place for any frequently used buttons as it's the least accessible one. Plus it would require a redesigned Smart Folio with a cut there, providing even less protection.

I don't like how the stereo speakers don't match on both sides. I guess there wasn't enough room. Hopefully they compensated internally.
