iPad mini Mini Best Buy Pre-orders

So who pre-ordered theirs on BB? Do you reckon we'll receive ours on release day? I checked the product page and it says pre-order now and receive on Fri, 9/24.
I usually preorder from Apple but since I already have a BB card, I decided to go through them. Not much experience with Best Buy in terms of Apple preorders so not sure what to expect.

I always got screwed over with BB when doing iPhone preorders so I just avoid them now.

Yeah I was extremely let down when I preordered the Mini 5 at Best Buy. Chose in-store pickup and they dropped the ball. I guess they didn't get their shipment and didn't know when they'd get it, so I just canceled and picked it up the next day at the Apple store.

BB also shows only "Coming Soon" on all Mini 6 cellular versions.

I also preordered at BB. A combination of discount (credit card promo), rewards points, plus trade-in of old iPad, made it too good to pass up. It does appear that the devices will only start to be shipped tomorrow (Friday) with delivery some tome next week. They are not going to overnight these things and even if they did, we'd need to see some movement by now. I am hoping that I can convert the order to pick up in store Friday, before they actual ship, but I think they will move to shipped overnight before they open pick up availability. Even Apple's website is no longer letting people arrange for Friday pickup.

When I was looking to get the IPP Cellular, Worst Try told me that it would be locked to my current provider because 'that's what they do', so I ordered it direct. I find WT adds far too many conditions onto some stuff, and then the whole 'is it going to be there?' drama too. Heck, I ordered something for pickup once, and went to get it to be told by a cashier that 'That guy! The one just walking out!' had bought the last one they had in the store. Just that minute. And I had ordered over an hour prior.. WTH??? Another time, they couldn't find what I ordered even thogu their in-store inventory system said they had three. They are good for what they do, impulse buys.

I’ve been charged and it’s updated to “getting ready” you can order right now for delivery tomorrow so I hope preorders get here tomorrow as well.

Mine (256 space gray) has also changed to getting ready. Earlier this am, I saw that I could change to store pickup, but the earliest was next Thursday. Out of curiosity, where are you seeing delivery for tomorrow (what model, capacity)? I only see next Tuesday at the earliest delivery for 256, but I can get a 64 today for pick up or delivery. I think the preorders will get pushed back until Monday at the earliest.

I ordered a 256GB cellular version this AM - they just started showing available for order. There was no delivery option, only pickup at a local store here in Seattle on Oct. 4. I ordered at BB because I had some credit I wanted to use up.

It’s on three of the non cellular 64 gb models. I have no pick up options locally, most available October.

As expected, Best Buy didn't actually commence shipping of pre-orders until today. The earliest they are promising now is September 28th.

My order originally was for store pickup on 10/4 but looking at their options for purchase they now have getting it on 9/29 via shipping. I cancelled the store pickup order and placed a new one with shipping for 9/29 delivery.

I preorder mine, it shipped on Friday. Well a label was printed on Friday, as of now FedEx is yet receive the package and there is no estimated day of delivery.

Mine has been sitting in Reno for 3 days now, each day with status it will be delivered that day here in Seattle. No response to my queries from OnTrac in their "We will respond ASAP" messaging system. Best Buy says give them more time.
