I bought an IOGear device to connect my printer to two computers, one a PC and the other, my new iMac 27". The device came with a application Mini-CD to install on both computers. Installing on my PC CD Tray was easy, but Im concerned about sliding that Mini-CD into the CD/DVD slot on the iMac. Any suggestions?

Do not put a mini-cd into any slot drive. It will get jammed in there. You could try an extern cd drive to hook up to your mac through the usb or you could try putting the installation files on a full sized cd or use a flash drive.

The only slot-loading Macs that support mini-CD/DVDs are the Titanium PowerBook G4s, period. No other slot-loading Mac support them (even though you would think they would with the Wii supporting them).

I took your advice, hooked up another CD writer, moved the data onto a full sized CD on my PC, and then installed the software onto the iMac. Thanks to you all for the help. DougY
