Mini DVI to DVI

hi

i am thinking about buiying a mini dvi to dvi adapter for my macbook, i also have a mac mini g4 that came with a converter dvi to vga, i was wondering if i was to buy the mini dvi to dvi adapter for my vga screen would the apater that came with my mac mini fit on the other adapter? - dvi to dvi

( im buying a mini dvi to dvi so if i get a dvi screen i can use it with out the adapter from the mac mini )

the mac mini uses a lot of the same components as the apple laptops. It's pretty much a laptop folded into that little box.

You will need both the Mini-DVI to DVI adapter and the Mini-DVI to VGA adapter if you plan on using devices with both. Unfortunately the Mini-DVI to DVI is only DVI-D, not the required DVI-I for a DVI to VGA adapter.
