Alright, I ditched my Apple TV to the SUV, and got a Mac Mini for my home theater PC. I installed the correct center stage front end but there is no ound on playback. Can anyone please help me. The sound works fine when i play directly from VLC or Mplayer, but not center stage:confused:

What is between your speakers and your Mini, and how are they connected?
whoa you lost me friend. I get sound out of the mini, I get sound when I use VLC or Mplayer. In Center stage application playing .mkv HD rips I get no s sound

at first glance it looks like you were hooking the mini to your home stereo system and like me at first Cave Man thought you meant "Center Channel" when you are actually refering to the application "Center Stage"

as i have never used Center Stage i can't offer any help other than re-read the manual or call their tech support.

good luck
