Mini issue

So I sold my c2d mini on eBay the guy got it last week but was waiting for a keyboard.

Now my mini was opened cleaned and then tested by a mate that works as a genius at a London store and everything checked out as ok. So....

The guy contacts me today saying that it only powers on to a grey screen? I was like wtf it's never skipped a beat!

What do u guys think is up?? He has tried booting holding c etc to boot from disk but nothing?? Help!

Does the machine have an internal DVD drive?

I would try an external DVD drive, you can also try using the option key to select startup volume.

Does the computer make any beeps at startup?

Has he tried reseting the PRAM?

Sounds like he bought it, changed his mind, and is looking for a reason to return it.
