According to this page Late 2006 latest firmware uses B08 and Early 2006 uses B005.

http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=303880

But I just bought mine 2 weeks ago. So it should be Late 2006 right not Early.

Cuz mine says B05 not 08. But mine should be 08 not 05. Unless it is Late and not Early but the factory just never updated it.

So how do I know if I have Early or Late?

Thanks,
ivnj

If you have a 1.66 GHz Core Duo processor, it could be that the one you bought was a high-end Early 2006 that they have sold as a low-end Late 2006.

Check the Order (Product) number on your receipt....should be MA206LL/A for the Early 2006 (1.66 GHz) and MA607LL/A for the Late 2006 model. If you have a 1.5 GHz Core Solo, then it is definitely Early 2006 and if you have 1.83 GHz Core Duo, it's definitely the later model.

It is 1.66 60gb, 2gb ram. I look up the receipt after good nights sleep and get back to you.
