So, I've seen people post info going both ways on this question... looking for an answer backed by definitive proof.

Does installing / upgrading the ram in a Mac Mini void the remainder of the 1 year (or extended Applecare) warranty?

More than a "Yes it does" or "No it doesn't" would be appreciated... maybe a link to the actual material your answer is based on.

No it doesn't and its not hard to do. I replaced the HD and RAM in my mini in less than an hour. Upgraded to 2GB of RAM and a 7200RPM Hitachi 160GB HD. :)
