For those of us still waiting for the last two. Which one will you be purchasing (Mini or Max). Curious to see which one and reason. Although the mini is intriguing I will be using this as a primary device. I do not own an iPad.

Cause I want it... no seriously though, I need the larger screen of the max. With aging eyes, it is much more comfortable viewing experience.

No interest in the mini at all. Coming from an XS Max I find even the 6.1 Pro screen a little small so there's no way I can deal with a 5.4 inch screen. That being said I'm glad Apple made the mini I know there's a lot of people that want flagship specs in a compact device and I'm sure it will sell well.

I was all in for the mini until I ordered a case for it and a case for the max to try out before the phones are released. I am coming from a regular 11 now. The 12 max case honestly didn’t feel that much bigger than my 11 now. A little taller but not much wider really. I tried each case in some pants pockets and such and yeah you can tell a different with the mini for sure but it is really small. In the end I didn’t want to give up that much screen real estate so I’m going to do with the max this year.

Kind of funny. It seems like this a decision many people are having to make. The Max looks great, no doubt. And I'm sure the camera will be wonderful, likely the best in a current smartphone, but I've wanted what the Mini offers for four years now. I've got a desktop and a tablet, so I'm good going with the far more manageable/pocketable device that still has a terrific main shooter.

bought the regular 12 for my parents, and planning to get the 12 Pro Max for myself.

2 Pro Max phones. Looking forward to the extra screen real estate and the improved cameras. The Pro Max is slightly larger than my 6S+. So it won't be an issue handling the Pro Max size.

Mini is the perfect size, its sightly smaller than iPhone 8 but bigger than SE
I currently own first gen SE, its too small
12 Mini reminds me a bit the era of Sony Z3 Compact, back to 2014 which Sony released an amazing compact smartphone (4'6 inches and between SE and iPhone 6 size)
Perfect size imo, it felt good in hands, you can easily reach any screen corner
Back to 2020, you got 5'4 instead of 4'6
I cant wait
I have tried iPhone 7, although bezels are quite huge, it feels good in hands as well BUT i must say, its sightly too large
I also owned for several months, an iPhone X which is basically same size as 11 Pro
Definitively too big, heavy...
Maybe i am against the flow of giant phablet smartphone market, the best iPhone size is the one who feels great in ONE hand and fits in your pocket as well^^
Steve Jobs philosophy all the way

If 12 Mini wasnt existed, i d probably stick with 12/12 Pro with regrets

It’s going to be a 12 Mini for me. I have 2 iPads at home so I just want something small and light when I go out. I’ve always felt the iPhone 8 was slightly too large.

Pro Max for me and a Mini for my wife. I have a 6S Plus now (yes, yes, I know, it's old) so I'm going with the similar size phone and my wife has the original SE and prefers the smaller form factor. I had originally planned to get the Pro (larger screen than I have now, smaller phone) but after talking with people I decided to get the Pro Max.

Definitely the Mini. Instead of charging me extra, Apple would have to pay me a monthly fee to carry around the larger and heavier Max.

My final decision was between the Mini and the 12 Pro, but the Mini won out mainly due to the extra weight of the Pro.

Mini !!!

God I hope I'm not the only one. I really want this to be a size that carries forward in future products. Already got my screen protector. V happy with the size compared to my OG SE.

Definitely the mini for me, it’s the most intriguing of the iPhone 12 range, just love it. I’ve got my iPad Air 4 for the big screen stuff!
