I have upgraded Mac Pro 5.1 with a working Fenvi T919 wifi-bluetooth card in the PCIe slot and I've recently received this mini PCIe to PCIe card https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000809732039.html
I tried installing this card in miniPCIe (wifi) slot on mac pro motherboard and fenvi card in PCI part connected with USB cable (and of course bluetooth to the usb port on the mac pro)
What I got is:
- working bluetooth
- fenvi card is on (lights are on) but the card is not recognized in "about this Mac" and, of course, there is no wifi
I know that wifi miniPCIe doesn't have everything that is needed for another PCI card to work, but I was hoping it will work for the wifi card.
Can it work? is there anything I can do to make it work?
