I don't get all these online guides saying you have to remove this, and remove that just to replace the ram.

I changed ram yesterday in my G4 1.42 to 1 gig. Besides opening the case, I moved the one antenna, and was able to replace the ram module.

Easy, and it took 5 minutes. I just don't get it.

Anyone with half a brain can do it.

g4 mac mini's are alot easier to upgrade than intel mac minis.
Different design inside.

Compatibility

Can anyone please tell me if the MacBook memory (1GB 667MHz single-DIMM) will work with the Intel Mac Minis? I got another MacBook with 1GB ram but I already have 2GB to put into, so I'm selling my 1GB and I wanna know what to put for its compatibility.

iMac, MacBook, MacBook works for sure; does the Mac Mini?

Thanks a lot!

all intel macbooks, macbook pros, imacs, and mac minis take the same ram.

Keep in mind apple recommends mac mini's run ram in pairs. ie 2 x 512, or 2 x 1GB.
