So I purchased a mac mini server, swapped out the main 500gb drive for a a mushkin chronos 120gb, (plus 8gb ram) everything going smoothly and finally got bootcamp up and running. To my surprise it boots much slower than expected, a good 20 seconds plus. a quick hd test reveals only 150mb second speeds. Same drive (which is partitioned) tests at 450+ in lion. Lions boots in 7 seconds flat. The only thing I can come up with is drivers in the windows side are running at the older sata speeds. Any ideas to help? Also tried to do a firmware update on the drive but it processes and then doesn't update the drive.
Forgot to mention, of course I did load the windows drivers supplied by apple for the mini.

Thanks for any ideas.

AHCI is not enabled so performance is stifled. Search the Windows on Mac forum for tips.
