On the phone with Apple today, they told me that my Mac Mini 2010's applecare warranty would be voided if I upgraded the memory myself...
I tried to question the guy, but he insisted i needed to bring it to an Apple store and pay them to upgrade it.
I told him that this was a very strange change of events for Apple, if true, told him it was an interesting problem because going back ten years to the Tibook I had, I know even that Powerbook was "customer upgradable memory" though you had to remove the keyboard and do other things I now can't recall.
What do you guys think of that?
