I'm doing my house up - clearing out the old crap and going minimalist - does anyone know any good sites for ideas/suppliers?

Please don't mention Ikea - it's terribly cheap tack - only want quality :)

What sort of look are you after? All glass, steel and melamine or natural materials, solid wood furniture etc?

I've just redone my den with Super Chalky paint from Ecos (organic paints), mostly white but for one wall I coloured the paint with natural pigments. I already had a two Cubos 10 units from Topaz for my books and a solid wood floor.

Let me know what you want and I'll see if I can think of anything.

Try livingspace.com

and check out their suppliers...

I have the store a couple blocks from my house and go there to drool.

they have uber nice stuff at uber high prices...but its super clean looking.

many thanks all for your suggestions, i've got lots of research ahead of me :) some really nice designs here... I've got an odd shaped room, which is used as a spare room so I'll have a play about with that first...

I'll post the results on here so you can all see

I would start with some storage units like these from Kartell. :)

La Difference is based in my hometown of Richmond VA. Its stupid expensive but they make some of the absolute best home furnishings known to man. To me at least. Im not sure if its in your price range or if they ship to the UK, but give it a look.
