Mini's are newer versions any louder?

I love the mac mini best desktop ever, anyways I have a first gen mini and want to eventually get another mini. Question is are the newer mini's any louder as in fan noise? do they run hotter? I got a mini because its so unnoticeable and want to make sure the newer models are just as quiet.

My Aunt and Uncle switched over to Mac by purchasing a Intel Mac Mini and it's very quiet. They have it down in the desks 'tower enclosure' (just an open tower-sized space below the desk) and you can't hear any fan noise at all. I don't know about operating temps though but I suspect they wouldn't be that different.

No not really mostly just internet and DL'ing & watching videos
