I would be careful about using mirrors on this one. There are accusations of Pangu/PP stealing data with the jailbreak. I do not think they accusations are true.
I will say that, an evil-doer with the know how, could inject malware into software, then put it on a mirror. It probably doesn't matter, and is unlikely, but just be careful.
