I have a use case I would guess is relevant for many parents out there. The kids have their ipads in the back of the car mounted in fixtures, watching some streaming service. But the kids are not able to handle the ipad yet. As such every time they want to change what they are watching, an adult needs to help. Maybe even stop the car to walk back, lean in and get peppa pig, paw patrol or whatever they want to watch back on. I want to be able to control and mirror content from an iphone in the front to an ipad in the back. I am stunned that airplay does not allow for this?? Yes, I have a 5G router in the car with all units connected. All 3rd party mirroring apps are crap and does not solve high quality video and sound.

How is this best solved? Is this a feature coming in IOS/IpadOS? Why have apple blocked out the ipad for airplay?
