Hello!

I currently use a Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus for videoing. I also have an iPad Mini 2 and an iPad 8th gen (2020). How can I use one of these iPads as a video monitor, what are the options?

I have already tried to "mirror" my Galaxy S9 Plus by clicking the "smart view" button on the phone but for some reason it does not find either iPad. I am doing this with both devices sitting on the kitchen counter so distance doesn't seem to be the issue. Will the S9 Plus just not mirror on the iPads? What are some other options to achieve mirroring?

I have looked into a few Apps but really don't like having to maintain a constant internet connection, having watermarks, or ad pop-ups, or the lag that seems so common with the Apps.

Thanks in advance for any advice!!!

By videoing, are you talking about watching YouTube videos or are you talking about video conferencing apps like FaceTime?

By videoing, I mean filming with the Galaxy S9 Plus and I want to use the iPad as a monitor. Perhaps I should have made that more clear..

I'm not sure this will work for you, you'll need to investigate. But I use their software to mirror my iPhone to my iPad, and they say they support Android. I don't use Android so I can't try it out for you.

Good luck.

I believe that app also requires a constant internet connection. A deal breaker for me.

there is no way to do this with iPad, it could be possible with a high end Samsung tablet though via wireless dex
