Misleading ATV2 and Airplay

The new Apple TV so far it's been a failure.

Failure in what way? It's actually been climbing Amazons sales chart, so sales seem much better than the old ATV. I would have never bought an old ATV at the prices they wanted. For $99 I have a pretty good media sharing device. It's a better NF streaming device than my 360 and plays media from my computer without any problems. IMHO, the biggest thing missing is something like Hulu support. I can see something like Hulu plus coming as an app at some point, but even if it doesn't, $99 was still a great deal for me.

There has been zero mention from Apple about an Apple TV update this month. So don't count on it.

Hmmm... join date Sept. 2010. I take it you bought the new Apple TV and got pissed that you were in the same predicament as him? Just for future reference, there is almost always "zero mention" by apple on any upcoming products/updates. It's the apple way.
