Missed calls/texts icon on lock screen

When I receive a missed call or a text message, my phone displays an icon on the lock screen. If I tap the icon, it loads the respective app.

For background, I tried playing around with LockScreen Info and made some SSH changes, but I have since done a clean install from DFU mode and setup my phone as a new phone.

Any ideas where this is coming from or how to get rid of it?

I would love to be able to go directly from lockscreen message to phone app or message app.

Am I misunderstanding or is that still showing up after a DFU restore?

Either way I kinda like it. Would be better if it wasn't just jammed in there willy nilly (maybe on the left in the large empty gap rather than crammed in on the right).

My thoughts exactly. I either want to get rid of it, or somehow figure out how to customize the icon placement.

Notifier (by Spektro) does this, but it doesn't look like that. It has an icon above or below the popup box which you click to go straight to the app.

Yea, I've never seen an icon shortcut inside the notification banner.

You found the fix for me. If Quick Reply/Compose are turned on in the lock screen then the icons will pop up.
