I have been using an SS S0 38mm (still a backup) and SS S3 and SS S5 40mm. I am finding I prefer the smaller form factor.

How do others feel about this?

I prefer the bigger screen and the size different of the watch is so minuscule, it doesn't matter a bit.

Same size case (although the S3 is 0.9mm thicker) but a larger screen on the S3. I think you’re effectively saying that for the same sized case you’d rather have less screen?

Might want to look at some o the Android or Samsung models. THEY like BIG!
Not a fan of circular smart watches. Besides, those are useless to me with an iPhone. I’m sure their 46mm screens are comparable to Apple’s 44mm when you factor in the missing corners of a circular watch.

My SS SS5 40mm is the "daily driver." Based on history I buy every 2 years, but with the SS it's not cheap and the S5 is working fine apart from marginal battery life with my use pattern.

I don’t really miss the 38mm form factor as I now own 40mm AW and the physical size is near enough identical. The slightly bigger screen size within the footprint is obviously a bonus.

What exactly is this thread about?

I prefer 38mm S3 for sports or outdoors activities bc it catches less on things and also less in the way when bending my wrist. The screens on newer models are so much better tho, not just extra size/resolution but image quality too.
