I'm on 13.1.2 with automatic app updates turned off and the badge on the app store icon for updates is still not showing, yet i have 6 updates available. Is anyone else seeing the same issue?

Yes I'm having the same issue on IOS 13.1.2 on my iPhone X, the badge Count Indicator for updating apps in the app store doesn't appear like it used to on IOS 12
i solved it.
go to Settings>iTunes & App Store and toggle OFF App Updates under Automatic Downloads.
I don't understand why turn off automatic updates when the proper way is it have it on, on IOS 12, I had it on and the badge Count Indicator was working fine
