I answered call yesterday and it seemed like an important one. Few seconds after, my battery died. When the phone came back on, the call was not on my Recent Call log. I have tried reaching out to my carrier but that's a dead end as they do not give out information on received calls. I really want to call that number back and have not received a call back yet.

I have contacted apple with no luck.

Surely there must be some log somewhere on my phone with this information. I need Help please.

Who is your carrier? On my T-Mobile plan logged into my account online, I can see all incoming and outgoing calls on my call detail for the current period. I believe it’s an FCC requirement that the call detail is provided, but maybe you’re not in the US. Maybe that call hit your account’s call detail even though it’s not on your phone.

Exactly who IS your carrier?
your plan, you’re paying for the service and the carrier will NOT provide you the number that called you? VERY weird, you should ask them how then are you BILLED accurately if they cannot determine a simple call?

Questions:
was the call to your carriers mobile number or via WhatsApp or some text app?
- if the latter 2 check those apps to find the number. Not all calls via WhatsApp is registered in teh phone Call log.
Was the call from a social media App? If so then DEFINITELY will NOT be in iOS call log.

May the caller blocked their number entirely?

Many GSM codes have been purged or nullified by carriers in an attempt to either disavow or charge the end user more $ for a free feature. That’s been a few years out now so even when a caller a) blocks their number, or b) calls you by first calling another number that has inbound calls auto forwarded there is no way to check that globally anymore.
