So before upgrading to iPhone 3.0 I did a backup/sync (outlook), then upgraded and now it seems a lot of my contacts just don't have any #s for them... but the contact card/picture etc. is there...

Is there anyway I can manually extract this information from a backup? Seems they don't exist in Outlook either... messed up sync. ugh!

I see a bunch of .mddata and .mdinfo files in my app folder under MobileSync/Backups... but no idea what I can do with them.

Thanks!

Ahhh it looks like there is only one backup? There is one folder with a BUNCH of files in there...

it's a 3.0 backup.. that's no good.

It only keeps 1 backup? Have I lost all this information then!? :(

Did you use one of those programs to extract the info? Is the numbers in your outlook?

For some reason the #s don't exist in outlook either... somehow the sync of the contacts messed up (missing #s for like half my contacts!)

I know they were all on the phone just fine... but this backup appears to be from a sync AFTER i upgraded... is there anytrhing I can do!? :(
