I have an iPad and iPhone. I told both to sync contacts with the iCloud. I noticed just a bit ago my iPhone contacts were gone. They were still on my iPad though. I couldn't figure out what was going on.

I tried adding a contact on my phone and the contacts app crashed. But when I started it, all my contacts were back.

A few minutes late, I wanted to add a new phone number to an existing contact via iMessage. I clicked on add to existing contact and my contacts were gone again! After a second or two, it crashed. I tried this again and they were back.

Seems to be flakey. Maybe it just needs a reboot. Hope it's not going to be buggy like this all the time.

For some reason there are no contacts in my contacts app now after the iOS 5 update and iCloud sync. But the contacts are in the phone app, so I'm assuming that is where they will be now.. Someone let me know if I'm mistaken and need to fix something with my phone.

Edit: I just restarted my phone and all the contacts are now in the Contacts app..
