Missing digit after update?

Posting this for a friend of mine, after the latest update that she applied, her phone number is missing the +1 (i believe) when you look at her phone number in the phone. All of her messages are coming in as numbers rather than contacts because of this, has anyone had this problem, and what might the resolution be?

What does iTunes show as her telephone number? I have had this happen to me on one occasion, but resetting the phone got things back to normal. And yes, it happened after an update.

Her phone number information would be on the SIM card so it's likely that resetting her phone should restore things to normal.

I agree. I've had this before and a force reset did the job. Go ahead and try it.
