Hi, I recently just started hunting around for some emails from a friend. However, I cannot find them on both my iMac and iPhone.

Since he used his university email (which has now been deleted since he graduated last year), I suspect the reason why the email isn't in my inbox is because the email no longer exists.

I asked my dad if deleting the email would cause all emails sent from the address to exist to cease to exist and he said he wasn't sure. Is this even possible?

PS: the documents my friend also uploaded into my Dropbox are also not there as well!!:mad:

No, once its sent, its on the receiver's servers, i.e., iCloud. Your email servers have no idea if the sender's email has been removed. There must be another reason for the disappearance

Hmm, Interesting... the emails sent from him are the only ones that seem to be missing though. I'm not sure where to start looking to solve this problem.
