Running into a weird problem with the new Photos app (aren't we all).
Basically, I have everyone's faces tagged. When I open Apple Photos on my Mac (M2 running 15.1 Sequoia) all of the face tags are present and show in "People and Pets." However, on my phone (12PM running iOS 18.1), some of the photos are not tagged.
Let's say I have 75 photos of someone tagged - on my computer, all 75 show up when I click that person in People and Pets. On my phone, only maybe 62 or so will show up. The images are there, but the tags aren't, and when I scroll to the photo in "All Photos," there's no face for me to tag.
I think this started around the time I updated to iOS 18.1, but I can't be sure.
Has anyone run into this, or does anyone have a fix? I'd rather not reset things and manually re-tag 16,000 photos and videos if I can help it.
