I recently had to transfer all my music to an external hard drive (Western Digital via a firewire) as my MacBook Pro was running low on disc space.

I copied all the files over and changed the settings in preferences to look at the external drive.

Now ALL the songs have exclaimation marks next to them as iTunes cannot locate the files that are accociated with the tracks.

When you double click to play, you can accociate the media from the hard drive by finding the artist, album and then song, but this can only be done one song at a time - I have 1000's of songs!!! It doesn't make any sense because the iTunes folder is the correct one that I've set up in preferences! What can I do?? Is there a quick way to do the whole library at once?

Help needed!!!! Cheers!
