i've just recently upgrade my Retina MacBook Pro 13" to Yosemite
i have a problem that some folder icon are missing and some are appear :(
is there any way to fix this without doing a fresh install?

Yup, same thing here. The folder titles are also covered in a black square box. Apple is brutal. I like the changes, but not these changes. I'd like to see my folders and their titles. Unreal.
