Hi guys,
I'm really hoping someone can help me as Google is not being particularly fruitful. I've FINALLY got round to upgrading from a super old and slow 2010 Macbook Pro to the brand new one. I honestly didn't realise how slow it was...
Anyway I've now got the problem of moving everything over - mainly a ridiculously large amount of emails and email folders. I've done everything by copying the Library/Mail/V2 folder on my old mac and the plist file and put them on the new mac. No problems there.
However when I opened Mail on the new mac I saw that only 2 folders had been copied over. Under closer inspection I've found that these are the only 2 folders (of about 30) that are in the original V2 folder. None of the others are in there, though they definitely exist on the original Mail app when I open it.
Does any one have any idea how I can get all those missing Mail folders into the original Library/Mail/V2 folder so I can copy them over to the new mac?
Many thanks in advance,
B
