Today I was reading the Austin Mann review of the iPhone 17 cameras and saw the praise he gave to the new photographic styles, Bright and Dramatic. I had been hitherto unaware of these and thought I would try them out on my 15 Pro Max, however I cannot locate them in the Styles settings within the app. All I have available is what was there before, namely Standard, Rich Cool, Vibrant, Warm and Cool.

I have of course updated to iOS 26 and I have the default set to HEIF. The other odd thing I noticed is how the UI screenshot he uses of the grid icon is materially different from what I see. The first is his screenshot and the second is mine - even the Styles icon is different.

Is anyone else having this issue?

The iPhone 16 and above have a new photographic styles selection, the 15 Pro doesn’t get those so won’t get the new ones.

Ah ok, seeing some mention of that although it's not very clear on Apple's own material.
