I'm trying to reorganize my life and would like the Calendar and Reminders widgets in the Today view, but I can't find them. Any suggestions?

Make sure they are turned on in System Preferences > Notifications

There is a known bug which disables the reminders today widget. The only way to get around that is by reenabling it from the today view by clicking on edit at the bottom of the screen and by adding it back again.

Well I wish I could say this helped, but the issue is there are only 3 additional widgets I can add (calc, social, world clock) and stocks, weather, tomorrow and today are the widgets I currently have in the Today view. So they're just missing in general.

Then if I look for "Today view widgets" in Sys. Pref, this comes up:
