Last Thursday I was working on a document for work for about 1.5hrs, clearly remember saving it to iCloud, believe I even pulled it up later that day or the next day, and now it's nowhere to be found.

I've searched in Finder for any conceivable part of the title of the file, looked on iCloud Drive online, searched the trash, and even went to ~/Library/Mobile Documents (which just pulls up my iCloud directory), and can't find it.

I know this sounds like amateur hour and I must have just not saved it and it's now toast, but I very clearly remember saving it. I'm pretty new to Macs, so I'm hoping someone out there knows 1. If this is a known issue with Pages, and more importantly 2. If there's any hope of me finding this file. I've worked on other Pages files and they've saved without issue, so I'm starting to think I'm going crazy and maybe didn't save it. . . .

Thanks!

Try to search for it with Spotlight/the Finder search field. Maybe try such a search within Time Machine.

Have you tried looking for it in All My Files?

You can also set Finder to show all your Pages files chronologically by "Date modified" or "Date last opened" and go back to when you last opened the file.
